Meet Ros

Hi, I would like to welcome everyone to Peer Mentoring with CDAH. I am a human being, a wife, a mother and a strong believer in the human rights of all in our community.

I have had incredible experiences throughout my life, followed a career caring for young children and am actively involved in lobbying for inclusiveness and respect for all. As a mother, my children all have dreams, achievements, friendships, arguments and failures. Living a full life has challenges and heartbreaks, it also brings about a sense of self. People with disabilities have every right to live their life their way with control and choice.

I would like to offer mentoring in:

  • Assisting people with disability and family members to build self-advocacy skills.
  • Supporting you to have your voice heard.
  • Assisting you through daunting government systems.
  • Helping parents get their head around early intervention.

Together let’s meet your goals so that you can have more choice and control in your or your family member’s life!
