G’day, I’m Jono. I have a brother I have supported since his battle with cancer and in the process I have become very capable at juggling a lot of the stress of study, jobs and social life with it.
I have been part of Camp Quality and Canteen for almost 10 years and in that time have helped support many people with many different stories to tell.
I have recently completed my HSC. As I commence university study I believe my strong points lie in my organisational ability and communication skills, which I am happy to use to help myself and others. As a mentor I am extremely flexible and understanding.
Specifically, I believe that my best support would come in areas such as:
Organising a weekly routine and strategies to keep a balanced lifestyle
Building resilience and confidence in public speaking
Planning and joining community sporting and cultural events and groups
Assisting in setting goals and how to accomplish them without being overwhelmed.
I am very excited to be selected for the University Quidditch team, as well as the debating team as we go to the state rounds.
