Meet Jono

Jono

G’day, I’m Jono. I have a brother I have supported since his battle with cancer and in the process I have become very capable at juggling a lot of the stress of study, jobs and social life with it.

I have been part of Camp Quality and Canteen for almost 10 years and in that time have helped support many people with many different stories to tell.

I have recently completed my HSC. As I commence university study I believe my strong points lie in my organisational ability and communication skills, which I am happy to use to help myself and others. As a mentor I am extremely flexible and understanding.

Specifically, I believe that my best support would come in areas such as:

  • Organising a weekly routine and strategies to keep a balanced lifestyle
  • Building resilience and confidence in public speaking
  • Planning and joining community sporting and cultural events and groups
  • Assisting in setting goals and how to accomplish them without being overwhelmed.

I am very excited to be selected for the University Quidditch team, as well as the debating team as we go to the state rounds.
