Join our growing movement of like-minded peers to build a strong and connected community.
Community Disability Alliance Hunter (CDAH) has been supporting peers in the Hunter region, and beyond for over a decade. Since its establishment in 2012, CDAH has provided a peer-led, collective voice for people with a disability.
CDAH has a membership type to support individuals, organisations, allies and families to become connected and grow their support network and community.
Why should I become a Member of CDAH?
By becoming a member of CDAH, you are committing to a voice for people with a disability. As a unique disabled people’s organisation, CDAH is operated by, and run for people with a disability.
CDAH is often approached for its commentary on issues that affect those living with disability on both a local, and national level, and with a diverse membership base, we create a collective voice that is reflective of our community. With a collective and united community, CDAH can grow to its full potential, building our training offerings, extending peer groups, and taking its place as a thought leader to influence meaningful change in society.
CDAH is nothing without the support, dedication and engagement of its members. With a growing membership, CDAH can deliver activities that are important to our community, and take action on issues that affect the lives of people with disabilities.
